True to Farm is a directory of farmers markets, farm stands, and CSA pickups, run by Tyler Spaulding. These terms cover use of the site and the membership.

What this is

The app helps you find a market, read whether someone confirmed it was open, and keep your own notes. It does not sell food, take orders, or handle a market's money. Nothing you pay here buys a listing, a higher place in search, or a change to whether a market is shown.

Schedules often come from the USDA directory and can be out of date. A confirmed-open stamp appears only when a shopper recorded that the market was open. An unconfirmed listing says where the schedule came from. Showing a market is not a promise that it will be open when you arrive, or that a vendor will have what you want.

Accounts

You can sign in with an email code, Google, or Apple. You need an account to save a market, keep a journal, write a review, answer "Was it open?", add a market, or claim one you run. The privacy policy says what those sign-in methods share.

What you post

A review, a "Was it open?" answer, a market you add, and a report are yours. You give True to Farm permission to show a review, a confirmation, and an added market on the directory, and to keep a report for the founder desk. Write from a visit you actually made. Don't claim a market you don't run, and don't file a closure or an hours change you don't believe.

The journal is private to your account. We don't publish it.

We can take down a review, a confirmation, or an added market that is false, abusive, or not about that place.

Membership

The directory, search, reviews, freshness, and Learn stay free. A free account can save 1 market and keep 2 journal entries. A member can save without that cap, keep a journal without that cap, and use saved markets, the journal, and nearby listings with no signal.

Membership is annual. You choose $20, $25, or $30 a year. Checkout is on Stripe. You can cancel from Profile. Canceling stops the next charge. Nothing already saved is deleted. Until you renew, a free account shows the newest saved market and the two newest journal entries. The rest stay stored and come back with membership.

Refunds are a separate page. A charge already made is not refunded from the app.

The site

The site can change, and a listing can be corrected or removed. These terms change by updating this page and its date.
